We got both my son and myself new football cleats. The prices are great and even price matched the Nike website. We have never had an issue with this location and shop here frequently for all our sports needs.

I go here for shows and bbq stuff. They have some pretty good prices and a great selection. And yes they have baseball bats for over 200 dollars😂

JB was very helpful. I walked up to the firearms counter and he immediately came to assist me. I showed him a product from the store's website and he swifty walked me to the in store location for the item. He lead me to similar products. I hope I don't get him in trouble here, but he opened the packaging to show me what was in the box. JB was very knowledgeable about the product and accessories I might need. He did all this with a smile on his face and a friendly demeanor. His service earned my return business.

This location does not honor the promotions advertised on the company’s own website, despite the site clearly stating discounts apply online or in‑store. When this was politely brought up, the staff refused to honor it and responded with unnecessary rudeness. After consulting with online customer service they asked me to return to the store to receive a refund with my receipt. Thank goodness I called the store to ask about it rather than drive 40+ minutes to the store, because we got the same answer, no discounts at all. We spent nearly $1,500 in this physical store, expecting advertised pricing to be honored on certain items. We added things to our online cart and expected 4 of the 5 items (not including our kayak) to be discounted by just 10% military discount. Instead, we were made to feel inconvenienced simply for asking the store to apply it. The attitude from staff made it clear customer service is not a priority at this location. Online customer service was able to provide another coupon for other items and a partial refund. If the store chooses not to honor in‑store discounts, they need to be transparent… before entering store… because advertising via email and online

Stopped by Academy Sports + Outdoors and had a great experience. We went in to get our fishing licenses, and the process was quick and easy. The staff was really helpful and made sure we got everything set up correctly. What stood out the most was they took the time to help us get the resident pricing because of our military status, which we really appreciated. While we were there, my wife picked up a new rod and reel combo along with some tackle, and the fishing section had a solid selection for everything we needed. Prices were fair, and it was nice being able to get everything in one stop. Overall, great customer service, especially for military, and a smooth, no-hassle experience. Definitely coming back for future fishing gear.
